The organizers of the 3rd Martintar 7s Tournament 2016 will be donating part of the two day tournament proceeds to the Fiji Rugby Sevens team to the Rio Olympics and those affected by Cyclone Winston.

Without a major sponsor the organizers Cawa Chapel have decided that this year’s adult admission will only be $6 per day and

$1 will go towards the donation.

Last year about 3000 people watched the Martintar 7s tournament and the organizers are optimistic that the numbers will increase this year.

Tournament official Timoci Waqaniburotu says they are expecting a big crowd to watch the games with the increase in the number of teams from Nadi, Lautoka, Nadroga and the Yasawas

The Martintar 7s tournament will be held next Friday and Saturday at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
