National 7's team coach Josateki Savou is without a specialist play-maker for the Pacific Games in Samoa.

Savou is now hoping for New Zealand based Tomasi Mawi to be release by his club to take up the role or he will have to dig deep within his 14 member squad to find out who is the best available player for the position.

From the 14 players that the FRU submitted for the Pacific Games, Mawi and Simione Saravanua are in New Zealand and the team has 8 forwards and 6 back-line players.

Savou will be hoping that the two NZ based players will be release since they are both back-line players and it could be disaster for him if they will be unavailable as he would have to use some of his forwards to be part of his back-line combination.

7 players in the team have don the national colours while 7 other players are yet to make their debut in the 7's rugby code.

The 7's team will march back into camp at Pensula hotel this Sunday.
