The 20 member Digicel Fiji 7s training squad will enjoy the New Year in camp as coach Iliesa Tanivula works on the weaknesses from the last IRB 7s outing before the New Zealand 7s.

Tanivula and his boys returned from South Africa yesterday with memories of losing to New Zealand in the Dubai semifinl and coming in second best again in the final in George.

He will meet with selectors Jope Tuikabe and Aisea Tuilevu to decide on whether they will name the replacements for Niumaia Cakacaka and Jerry Burotu who were injured in Dubai.

Fiji is in second place with 36 points while New Zealand currently leads the IRB 7's series with 48 points.

Defending champion South Africa is in 8th spot with 16 points.

The next leg of the IRB 7s series will take place in Wellington on the 5th and 6th of February.
