The Josateki Savou coached side beat Argentina 31-19 in their opening pool game then went on to out-class Zimbabwe 34-5 in their second outing before thumping Australia 46-12 in their last pool game.
Speaking to Village Sports after analyzing his boys’ performance, Savou said that he was happy with the results from the pool game.
Looking at the quarter finals draw at 7.08pm New Zealand will take on Argentina while at 7.30pm South Africa will face Kenya.
Samoa plays England at 7.52pm while the last quarter finals at 8.14pm Fiji face Scotland.
Looking at last night’s results, South Africa beat England 22-10, Samoa edge Wales 19-14, Fiji thumped Australia 46-12 and New Zealand was lucky to beat France 21-19.
