7s team must improve performance
They have beaten Chinese Taipei 33-0 in their opening pool match last night but their other tough opponent, Samoa also registered a 14-10 win over Canada.
It seems that the Fiji/Samoa match will decide, who will progress into the last eight but the Iliesa Tanivula coached side must first beat Canada in their second pool match, who nearly caused an upset against the Samoans.
The Fiji/Canada match will kickoff at 5:05pm while they play Samoa at 9:28pm.
Meanwhile there were also big wins for top seeded teams like New Zealand, South Africa and England yesterday.
England beat China 54-0, New Zealand thrashed Sri Lanka 59-0 and South Africa defeated Korea 29-7. World 7s champion Wales also won yesterday beating Japan 14-5 while Argentina beat Hong Kong 28-0 and Kenya defeated the West Indies 17-10.
Today's games will start at 2:30 this afternoon.
