That is how the scene in the Marco Polo Hotel in Hong Kong where the Digicel Fiji 7s team is staying with the rest of the 23 teams taking part in this year’s tournament.
Manager Talemo Waqa said since they arrived yesterday they have met with current defending champions Samoa, Gordon Tietjen’s New Zealand team, South Africa and Australia.
Waqa added the players mostly came face to face with each other sharing jokes and stories during breakfast and dinner but that will be put to rest when they will start their pool games on Friday night.
Today the side went through a gym work in the morning before a light training run at lunch with a warm up game against Japan this evening.
Fiji will open their Hong Kong Sevens campaign against Malaysia on Friday night at 9.14pm.
