The Digicel Fiji 7s team left our shores yesterday with Coach Iliesa Tanivula hoping his side will do better than last year's record in Wellington.

A year ago Tanivula came in to replace Waisale Serevi with just a few days to go for the New Zealand 7s and failed to produce the winning results when Fiji was bundled out of the quarterfinals by England.

Now the Namotomoto man from Nadi believes his side is more mature than a year ago, and the players are determined to win their first IRB 7s series title for this season.

Tanivula said last year's results is now history and this weekend in Wellington will be a chance for his boys to erase the memories of failing to go past the quarterfinals.
