With just two weeks away from the Hong Kong 7s tournament, interest is building up on who will be part of the Digicel Fiji 7's team.

The team is expected to be named early next week.

Meanwhile, Fiji Rugby Union High Performance General Manager Mike Ryan has confirmed that no one will be appointed as Assistant Coach of our Digicel Fiji 7s team for the remaining leg of the World Sevens Series.

Ryan said it is not necessary to select someone to take up the job as Alifereti Dere has the expertise to make the decision for the team.

Ryan added that there will be a management team of four that will be going to the next leg of the series which include Semi Rogoyawa as manager, William Kwong as physiotherapist, Aisea Bici as the new trainer and Dere as head coach.

The Hong Kong 7s will be played from the 22nd to the 24th of this month.
