Former Flying Fijians Coach Ilivasi Tabua believes the national sevens rugby side can bounce back next weekend in New Zealand.

Fiji's most successful rugby coach who also represented Fiji and the Wallabies said Fiji committed a lot of errors during the USA 7s.

Tabua added that it's not the end of the road for Ben Ryan and the side.

Tabua also said there were numerous penalties conceded in the contact area and Fiji's rush defense did not work out as New Zealand and Australia exposed it during the tournament.

Tabua added that one on one tackles is an area of concern but it can be fixed before the New Zealand 7s next weekend.

Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, Spain and France for the Wellington tournament next week.

Fiji will take on NZ in their first pool match of the NZ 7s at 2.06pm next Friday.
