Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan will name a 16 member squad today to continue their preparation for the next leg of the HSBC World Sevens Series in Wellington and Las Vegas.
Ryan said trimming the squad down to 16 is a hard task for him as there are other players who have been pushing hard for a spot in the final 12 member team.
It will be interesting to see who Ryan selects in the playmaker’s position as there are quality players like Jerry Tuwai, Vatemo Ravouvou, Eminoni Nasilasila, Osea Kolinisau and Emosi Mulevoro.
Other players who are expected to retain their spots in the team include Aisake Katonibau, Apisai Domolailai, Semi Kunatani and Savenaca Rawaca.
The Vodafone Fiji Sevens team is pooled with Australia, Wales and Portugal and the New Zealand 7s will be held on the 6th and 7th of next month.
