The National selectors may take experience as a factor when naming the forwards of the Digicel Fiji 7's team to the Hong Kong 7's tournament.

Eight players in the forwards include Jerry Burotu, Sailosi Rabo, Setefano Cakau, Nemani Nagusa, Dale Tonawai, Waqabaca Kotobalavu, Leone Nakarawa and Watisoni Votu are vying for the position but only five will be chosen.

Jerry Burotu and Watisoni Votu are the seasonal campaigners while Dale Tonawai is the only survivor of the team that won the IRB 7s series in 2007.

Waqabaca Kotobalavu has been in top form in the last IRB 7's tournament in USA while Nemani Nagusa is a newcomer to International 7's scene.

Sailosi Rabo returns after laps of many years while Leone Nakarawa is the only member who is yet to don the National jumper.

Meanwhile, Fijivillage Sports has received confirmation that those players chosen and are part of the military institution will travel to Hong Kong but changes will be made for the Australia 7's.

The Hong Kong 7's will kick off next Friday and Fiji is pooled with Kenya, Russia and Malayasia.
