‘Victory for Moscow’.

That's the theme for this year's Infantry Day Celebrations across the country as the Royal Fiji Military Forces remember the life of Sefanaia Sukanaivalu and others, who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Head of the 3rd Fiji Infantry Regiment Lieutenant Colonel Jone Kalouniwai said they chose the theme ‘Victory for Moscow’ because of the National 7s team who are camping at Queen Elizabeth Barracks.

Lt Kalouniwai added that they want to show the players their support as well before they leave for battle in Russia.

Kalouniwai also said that yesterday is not only about going through the infantry skills.

The day started with a dawn service where three wreaths were laid by Lt Colonel Kalouniwai, Chief of Staff of the RFMF Brigadier General Mohammed Aziz and Digicel Fiji 7s Captain Lepani Botia.
