Less than two week’s will be the given time to whoever will coach the Digicel Fiji 7s team to the first IRB 7s on the Gold Coast in Australia next month.

The Fiji Rugby Union is yet to name the coach although Josateki Savou is currently in charge of the team in the FORU tournament in Samoa.

The FRU board will meet on Thursday but there is no indication on when they will name the 7s coach.

With majority of the players who are seasonal 7s players tied up in the Sukuna Bowl preparation which will take place on the 11th of next month, it will mean that the side can expect all players to be in camp on the 14th which will give the new coach only less than 12 days to fine tune his team.

The Australia 7s kicks-off on the 26th and 27th of November.
