The short listing of who will get the Digicel Fiji Sevens coaching job will be on Thursday with the confirmed coached announced next week.

Out of all the applicants only current coach, Josateki Savou and Iliesa Tanivula have tasted IRB 7s experience while the likes of Lote Rasiga, Sailosi Naiteqe Snr, Alifereti Dere, Watisoni Ratulevu and Penisoni Uluiviti have not been given a chance.

The coach who will be named will have less than two weeks to put a team together which is likely to be made up of those players that reached the FORU 7s final yesterday and seasoned players in the Police and Army team.

The first leg of the IRB 7s is in Gold Coast 7s on the 25th and 26th of next month.
