Japan based William Ryder believes the Digicel Fiji 7s team can make a comeback and win the third leg of the IRB World 7s Series in Hong Kong and Adelaide.

Ryder, who arrived in the country this morning, said it’s unfortunate that Fiji lost the last four tournaments and has been struggling to find their rhythm.

He said nothing can be done now but it’s a chance for the players to prove this time around that they are still the best 7s team in the World.

Ryder said despite playing 15's rugby in Japan, he is ready for the 7s code and he will not let his fans down at this weekend's Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament.

He also said former Fiji 7s Coach Waisale Serevi should be given another chance to play in Hong Kong.

Ryder and the other two based Japan players, Semisi Naevo and Nasoni Roko are highly tipped to make the final 12-member squad to Hong Kong and Adelaide 7s tournaments later this month.
