The Digicel Fiji Sevens team remains undefeated in South Africa but they have failed to show they are the real contenders of the George Sevens title.

The Waisale Serevi coached side defeated Scotland 31-0, edged Zimbabwe 24-14 and beat Argentina in their last pool game 26-7.

Fiji will now face Samoa again in the quarterfinals in a repeat of last week's Dubai Sevens where they won 12-7.

Defending Champions New Zealand is the team to beat with a 19-7 win against England and a thumping 40-5 victory over France while Tunisia could not match them as they bowed out 36-0.

Also hosts South Africa are serious to end their losing streak at home after coming out as Pool winner from group B.

In the opening quarterfinal tonight at 9.59 New Zealand will take on USA.

USA beat Australia 28-26 to be in the top 8 and Captain Chris Wyles said they are looking for an impressive performance as they know the Kiwis are one of the favourites.
