Digicel Fiji 7s manager Opetaia Ravai and coach Joe Savou were misquoted in the Fiji Times yesterday that they have planned to apologise to former Fiji 7s coach Waisale Serevi.
Speaking to Fijivillage sports from the Marco Polo Hotel in Hong Kong, Ravai said this type of reports paints a negative picture on the team's quest to win the Hong Kong 7s title.
Ravai also said that the players have now settled in well and today they will play a warm-up match against the USA side to try out a different combination ahead of their opening pool match against the Korean side on Friday.
Fiji plays Korea in its first HK 7s pool game on Friday at 9:14pm.
