A well known sevens rugby player charged with three counts of assault appeared before Magistrate Naomi Matanitobua today.
On the 27th and 28th of December, the 7s player was drinking at an uncle's place when an argument developed between him and his wife and he allegedly assaulted her resulting in a fall where she received some injuries.
The accused pleaded guilty and has been granted $100 bail.
The case has been adjourned to the 8th of January.
