7s Management Confident In Young Side
Speaking to Fijivillage, Digicel Fiji 7s team manager, Opetaia Ravai said is aiming to restore some pride and has pleaded for support.
Ravai also confirmed that there were no hiccups at the airport this morning as due to restrictions on army personnel from Australia, Iliavi Satala had to travel on Korean Airlines.
The Digicel Fiji 7s team meets Canada in their opening match at 8:44pm next Saturday. Then at 11:50pm Fiji plays Portugal in their second pool match and meets Australia at 4:14am on Sunday in their final pool encounter.
The first Cup quarterfinal on Sunday will start at 11:28pm while the first semifinal will kickoff at 3:44am on Monday with the final scheduled for 5:52am on Monday, the 26th May.
