7s Look Back
Josateki Savou took over from Waisale Serevi and he guided the side to 3 finals, 2 semi-final losses and three 1/4 finals.
The side finished in 4th spot in the IRB 7's points standing and since then Savou has been replaced by his former boss the Maestro who will guide the side to defend the Melrose Cup in Dubai in March.
Serevi tried his best to restore some pride back into the team but he failed both in Dubai and George losing to eventual winners South Africa.
Now the FRU has called on former Nadroga coach Joji Rinakama to be his technical adviser and the likes of Sireli Bobo, Filimoni Delasau, Jone Daunivucu, Semisi Naevo, Timoci Nagusa , Sireli Naqelevuki and William Ryder have been eyed to be part of the team for the Melrose Cup.
