Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula has alot of faith in his 12-member squad who left for the Hong Kong 7s tournament this morning.
Speaking to Fijivillage sports from Nadi Airport before departing, Tanivula said he is banking on this team to bring back the lost glory.
Tanivula adds that unlike the World Cup preparations, this team has shared alot together and the boys have bonded well.
Meanwhile, National team trainer Serupepeli Navuca did not travel with the team this morning but will travel on a later flight on Wednesday.
Fiji meets Chinese Taipei in their first pool game at 8:52pm on Friday, then they meet Canada at 5:04pm on Saturday and their last pool game against Samoa is at 9:28pm.
A total of US $100,000 is at stake at the three-day Hong Kong 7s tournament.
