A total of 767 University of the South Pacific students this afternoon received their papers finalising their graduation after close to three years of hard work.

Addressing the graduates, Vice Chancellor, Professor Rajesh Chandra said that over the forty years of providing educational opportunities to the Pacific, the number that graduated today is a big difference from the first class of 33 that passed out since its being in 1971.

In his address, Chandra also added that despite the financial difficulties the University is facing, education will still be carried on.
