Suva Grammar School is known for holding extravagant concerts and that is what we want to share with everyone during this 50th Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
This is what prompted the SGS 70's decade to hold a talent contest tonight called the "Vakateratera Night", dedicating it to an annual event at the school which gave students a chance to showcase other talents they were good at, outside of their academic work.
70's decade representative Losana Ah-yuk said she still remembers vividly when she first took part in a Suva Grammar concert when she was in form one.
Ah-yuk added the 70's decade wants to share this enjoyable experience through the "Vakateratera Concert" tonight.
The Suva Grammar School 50th Golden Jubilee Celebrations continues today with a Careers Expo at the school and a charity event at the Suva Civic Centre from 11am to 3pm today where people are invited to come forward and donate items for the needy in the society.
From 5.30pm today, the 70's decade will be hosting the "Vakateratera Talent night" at the Suva Civic Centre.
