Two days to go for the Fiji Sports Awards and the Fiji Sports Council is expecting about 700 people for the event as tickets are selling fast.

Fiji Sports Council chairman Peter Mazey said this year’s event will be different from the previous ones as the 78 nominees will all get a trophy.

Mazey added the nominees for the Sportsman and Sportswomen of the Year are likely to be released tomorrow.

All Blacks 7s great Eric Rush will be the guest speaker at the event.

Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama is the chief guest.

The Fiji Sports Awards is scheduled for this Friday at the Vodafone Arena.
