An estimated 70 cruise liners are expected to visit our shores till December this year, bringing thousands of visitors and much needed revenue for our economy.

Pacific Agencies operations manager and member of the Cruise Committee Bradley Bower said 23 vessels will dock in Suva while the tourism dollar from the cruise liners will be spread across the country with smaller vessels scheduled to visit Lautoka, Savusavu, Taveuni, Beqa, Kioa and Kadavu.

Bower said hard work over the years by the relevant stakeholders is now reaping its benefits as it goes to show that ports in Fiji are attractive stops for the major cruise line operators.
