6 youths are currently being questioned by Savusavu Police for allegedly brutally sodomising a seven year old boy over the weekend.
Regional Operations Officer Northern SP Bola Tamanisau said the alleged incident took place in a village in Savusavu and the matter was reported to police a day after.
The Class 1 student reported the matter to his parents who then reported the matter to police.
The victim was later taken to the Savusavu hospital for medical examination.
They are expected to be charged soon. Police are trying to determine whether the six were under the influence of alcohol or had taken drugs.
