Seven senior soccer players have been dropped from the National team for not showing up at camp on time yesterday.
The team was named to face the Fair Play Brazil team next week.
Team director Tarunesh Reddy said Labasa’s Pita Bolaitoga, Peniame Drova, Osea Vakatalesau, Tuimasi Manuca, Malakai Tiwa, Beniaminio Mateinaqara and Laisenia Raura have been dropped.
Reddy said these players did not have any genuine reasons for arriving in Ba after 6 last night.
According to Reddy, they have included three Nadi players like Amani Makoe, Ilimotama Jese and Uraia Loki in the squad.
Fiji will face the Play Fair Brazil side next Thursday and Saturday at Churchill Park and Govind Park.
