Seven people who were said to be missing at sea since yesterday afternoon are safe and taking shelter in a village in Ovalau.

Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Suliano Tevita confirms that the seven people were found to be taking shelter at Vagadaci Village in Ovalau Levuka this morning.
 
The seven had left Suva for Lamiti in Gau and according to Police, at 10 o'clock last night they received a call from the people on board that they were experiencing engine problems and they were drifting near Koro sea.

Meanwhile the 51 year old woman and her 18 year old who went missing yesterday were found near Naqara reef today.

According to Police the two managed to swim to Naqara Island after their boat capsized.
