Police have questioned and released seven people in relation to the $7million marijuana raid in Navosa in the past two weeks.

Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the seven were questioned on allegations of drug cultivation.

He said they are awaiting the analysis report before deciding on their next step.

Meanwhile, Sokomuri said they are now clamping down on those people who are buying marijuana from these farmers.

He said some people are already under surveillance and arrests will be made soon.

A total of 1,550 marijuana plants were uprooted during police operation Dromunisiga and some plants were as high as 3 meters.
