Police have interviewed and released seven suspects in relations to the alleged rape of a 19 year old casual worker of Serua.
Assistant spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita has confirmed that the suspects were released due to insufficient evidence.
However, two more suspects have been implicated and they are expected to be brought in for questioning soon.
The Nine allegedly raped the victim in bushes during a drinking part in a village in Nadroga. A villager found the woman lying naked and reported the matter to police.
