A 6 year old girl drowned in a river in Macuata yesterday.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the girl was swimming in the river with other children when she was discovered missing.
Police were alerted and a search was conducted.
Her body was found yesterday afternoon and police are awaiting the post mortem report.
