Police in Nausori are investigating a case where a 6 year old boy is alleged to have indecently assaulted a 4 year old girl.
Regional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Aca White has confirmed that a report was lodged with them after the girl was taken to the CWM hospital.
The alleged incident took place in June, however the girl was taken to hospital over the weekend after she developed some medical problems.
According to ASP White, the six year old will be questioned soon in the presence of his parents.
The victim is admitted in hospital.
