Police in the Western Division have taken a 66 year old man into custody for allegedly raping a 6 year old child.
Assistant Spokepserson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the man is under investigation for alleged rape and indecent assault.
Inspector Sokomuri said the girl reported the matter to her parents who then took it up to police.
Police are awaiting the medical report of the child.
