A 64 year old farmer charged with four counts of rape was today found guilty and further remanded in custody by the Tavua Magistrates court.
Regional Prosecuting Officer Western ASP Anil Prasad called in six witnesses today while the farmer is represented by the Legal Aid Commission lawyer.
It is alleged that the farmer raped his grand-daughter between 2002 and 2003.
The farmer will be sentenced this Friday.
