A total of 618 people are still taking shelter in the 16 evacuation centres which are open in the Western Division.
DISMAC officials have confirmed that seven evacuation centres are still operational in Nadi with a total of 338 people taking shelter.
In Ba 6 evacuation centres are still open with a total of 214 people while in Lautoka 58 people are taking shelter at the three evacuation centres.
According to DISMAC official Laisenia Naitela people are moving away from the evacuation centres slowly.
The two schools that were used as evacuation centres in Wainibuka have been closed with people moving away to their homes.
