Being a local student in the 1960's at Suva Grammar School was a challenge but it taught us that we could achieve anything even in the most challenging environment.
SGS 60's decade representative Eileen Jack said this was one of lessons they learnt while attending Suva Grammar during the 1960's as it was mostly dominated by the children of expatriates.
Jack said going through that experience gave her the confidence to tackle any situation and she sees that similar trait with current students.
Jack added tonight the students from her decade will round off their day with a back to the 60's night.
The Suva Grammar School Golden Jubilee Celebrations continues this week, with various events held during the day and evenings.
