Courts IDC may be the last soccer tournament where teams will play 60 minutes soccer as the two Presidential candidates for the Fiji FA elections now want a change.
It is highly likely that soccer tournaments from next year will see the introduction of ninety minutes soccer which is recognized internationally.
In a talk back show on our sister station, Radio Sargam last night, Presidential candidate and former Fiji FA Vice President, Rajesh Patel agreed that 60 minutes soccer is not doing any good to our soccer standard.
Wheels of change Candidate, Shalendra Prasad also highlighted in the talk back last night that district teams currently play bazaar soccer in local tournaments.
The Courts IDC kicks off tomorrow at the TFL National stadium and Navua will take on Tavua at 4.30pm in the first match.
