Around 60 people turned up this morning for the Ecumenical Centre for Research and Advocacy and People's Concerned Network organized march in Suva which was primarily to highlight that solutions needed to be found on how the living standards of people living under the poverty line can be improved and to commemorate World Human Rights Day.

People's Concerned Network Chairman Mesake Dakai said they want to tell the leaders that people living in squatter settlements are facing numerous difficulties and most of the time they are marginalized by others in society.

Dakai stressed that squatter settlers also have rights and must be treated as such adding squatters are not only from one particular race but are from all walks of life.

The march was from the Suva Flea Market to the Suva Bowling Club.
