Soccer players in the country will have to improve on their discipline as the Vodafone Fiji FACT moves into the final rounds at Prince Charles Park this Friday.

This is after a total of six red cards and 35 yellow cards were shown in the first eight games of the tournament.

Fiji FA's Referees Director Paresh Kishore said the intensity of the matches are high and players need to maintain their cool and avoid getting cards.

Kishore said the decisions made by the referees on the first two days were fair.

Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Officer Bob Kumar also believes that the decisions were fair and players will be punished if they do not maintain their discipline.

Meanwhile, defending champion Suva and last year's finalist Ba have qualified for the semifinals.

In the games this Friday at Prince Charles Park, Labasa takes on Nadroga at 1.30pm, Navua plays Rewa at 3.30pm, at 5.30pm Ba faces Suva while at 7.30pm Lautoka will meet Nadi.
