Digicel Fiji 7s team coaching staff has named 6 new faces in the Barbarians side to play in the Uprising Fiji International 7s.
Leading the way in the forwards is Flying Fijians lock forward, Sekonaia Kalou with Nadroga team mate Apisai Domolailai and Samu Bola who will also make his first appearance in the 7s code in the national level.
Coach Alifereti Dere and Etuate Waqa have included the likes of Iliesa Nadau, Jone Tiko and Jo Nasili-sili as the new comer in the back-line.
Assistant coach, Etuate Waqa said that the inclusion of players like Kalou, Bola and Nemani Nagusa will fix the problems that led to Fiji’s downfall in Dubai and South Africa.
The Fiji team that was named this morning in the forwards, Sekonaia Kalou, Apisai Domolailai, Nemani Nagusa, Samu Bola, Setefano Cakau and Dale Tonawai.
The back-line has players like, Iliesa Nadau, Osea Kolinisau, Metuisela Talebula, Livai Ikanikoda, Jone Tiko and Jo Nasilisili.
Dropped from the last leg of the IRB 7s are James Brown, Emosi Vucago and Jimilai Nakaidawa who will all still be considered for the next leg of the IRB 7s in NZ and USA.
The Uprising Fiji International 7s will be held at the TFL Stadium next weekend.
