Flying Fijians head coach Sam Domoni has named six new caps and five seasoned professionals for the one of test against the Wallabies in Canberra on Saturday evening.

Among the players named in the starting 22 include five from 2009 and 2010 Pacific Rugby Cup (PRC) Champions the Air Pacific Warriors and three from PRC 2010 finalists the Bodyguard Barbarians.

Also named in the squad is Nadi hooker Viliame Veikoso who missed the PRC through injury.

The full team to face the Wallabies is as follows:

Campese Ma'afu, Tuapati Talemaitoga, Deacon Manu (capt), Dominiko Waqaniburotu, Sekonaia Qaraniqio, Anthony Wise, Jimilai Naikadawa, Jone Qovu, Emosi Vucago, Waisea Luveniyali, Timoci Nagusa, Saula Radidi, Rupeni Caucaunibuca, Sireli Bobo (v capt) and Taniela Rawaqa

The reserves include Viliame Veikoso, Graham Dewes, Rupeni Nasiga, Malakai Volau, Vitori Buatava, Nemani Nadolo and Ropate Ratu.

Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer Keni Dakuidreketi was pleased to see the large presence of local players in the team.

He said it miss a real testament to the work being done locally that there is such a large representation of players from our PRC squads now in the Flying Fijians.

The match against the Wallabies kicks off at 9:40 PM (Fiji time) and will be the nineteenth time these two sides have played against each other with the Wallabies holding a commanding advantage having won 15 times to Fiji's two victories with one match drawn.

Fiji's last victory against Australia was a 16 18 victory on 26 June, 1954.

Their most recent meeting at the 2007 Rugby World Cup resulted in a 55 12 victory to Australia.

Domoni believes the players who have been selected have what it takes to repeat what happened 56 years ago.
