6 in hospital after 3 separate accidents
A 9 year old class four student of a Suva school was hit by a taxi driven by a 28 year old man in Cunningham.
The taxi driver has been questioned and released by police.
In another accident, a 19 year old secondary school student was rushed to the CWM hospital after he was hit by a car in Laucala Beach yesterday afternoon.
A private car driven by a 59 year old man hit the boy when he was crossing the road.
Four people are also admitted at the Lautoka hospital after the car they were in collided head on with another private vehicle in Lautoka yesterday afternoon.
Police believe the 24 year old driver lost control of the vehicle and it went to the wrong lane and collided head on with an oncoming vehicle.
The 24 year driver is in serious condition.
Police are once again calling on members of the public to be more cautious while using the road.
