No one was at home at the time of the fire.
There were two home fires in Suva on Saturday and two on Sunday.
On Saturday morning, a fire completely destroyed a 3 bedroom house in Cunningham and at 10pm, another fire destroyed 4 classrooms at Lelean Memorial School in Davuilevu.
Meanwhile, a family of 13 is still in shock after a fire destroyed their house in Shalimar Street, Raiwasa, early Sunday morning.
The family was at a Boxing Day function at a relative's place when they got a call at 3:30 in the morning that their home was on fire.
The National Fire Authority is calling on the public to be careful during the New Year's long weekend and CEO Tupou Saubulinayau said negligence was the main cause for these home fires.
Investigations are still underway to ascertain the cause of these fires.
