6 Indian nationals are being detained at the Namaka Police Station after it was discovered that they used fake Canadian and British Passports to enter Fiji.

Director Immigration Major Nemani Vuniwaqa had confirmed the 6 were arrested yesterday when they tried to leave the country.

It is believed that five came to Fiji using fake Canadian passports on 15th of this month while the sixth suspect came into the county on 22nd of this month using a fake British passport.

According to Major Vuniwaqa, upon information from the Interpol and the Canadian authorities, the 6 were arrested by police and Immigration officers yesterday.
