Police Major Fraud Unit officers have arrested a 57 year old man who was allegedly providing herbal therapy services from a motel room in Suva.

Assistant Police spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita said their officers received information from someone that the suspect was acting in a suspicious manner after which a search was conducted in his room yesterday afternoon.

Police seized some medical appliances and cash from the motel room after which he was taken into custody.

Police are still questioning the man.

Meanwhile, Nadi Police are still questioning the 22 year old who allegedly robbed and raped a 74 year old elderly woman on Wednesday night.

The retired woman was alone at home when the suspect, who was armed, forcibly entered the house and threatened her.

He demanded cash and later raped her before he fled with $150 cash and other items.
