It has been confirmed that 57 evacuation centers around the country are still open.
Police Operation Command Center at the Central Police Station (CPS) had confirmed that 2,928 people are still sheltering at these evacuation centers.
In the Eastern Division there are 13 evacuation centers with 554 people, Northern Division has 2 evacuation centers in which 27 people are taking shelter and in the West 42 evacuation centers are still operational with 2,347 people still taking shelter.
Meanwhile, the highway between Labasa and Savusavu is now open to all traffic.
DISMAC confirmed the green light was given late yesterday afternoon after Engineers assessed the road.
However, motorists are urged to take extra care and precaution while using the road as some parts of road are yet to be repaired.
