Police have laid charges against a 55 yr old man who allegedly struck a man with a knife in Wainimala village, Naitasiri yesterday morning.
Regional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Aca White said the incident happened at around 11am yesterday after an argument developed between the 55 yr old man and the 54 yr old victim in relation to the ownership of the house where the victim was staying.
The man has been charged with act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and is expected to appear in the Nausori court this afternoon.
