For the first time ever 50 Indo-Fijian inmates at the Natabua Prison in Lautoka celebrate Diwali today.

These are remands, convicts and inmates who have the chance and opportunity to shares sweets and food with their own families when they were invited this morning.

Assistant Public Relation Officer West Semesa Uluiviti said this is part of the Yellow Ribbon Project.

Other inmates were having sports day to mark the occasion.
