Police are questioning the driver of a vehicle which hit a 5 year old girl in Savusavu yesterday.
Assistant Police PRO, Corporal Suliano Tevita said that the girl, who was with her mother, got off a bus and ran across the road when she was hit by the vehicle at Naodamole Village along the Labasa/Savusavu highway.
The girl received serious injuries and is currently admitted at the Labasa Hospital. The vehicle driver has not been charged yet as police investigations continue.
