Five top teams from the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament have confirmed their participation for the Vatukoula 7s tournament this week.
Competition Director, Lemeki Rasiga said that Marist 7s champs Army, Ratu Filise, Police, Wardens and defending Vatukoula 7s champions Red Rock will be taking part along with 24 other teams.
Rasiga said that they are now just waiting for the seven other teams to confirm their participation in the richest tournament ever organized locally in sporting history.
According to Rasiga, the Fiji Barbarians side will not be taking part in the tournament.
The Vatukoula Sevens tournament will kick off at Theodore Park this Friday.
